Rhapsody is now DRM free

Great news for Podfitness users, Rhapsody has joined the likes of Amazon MP3 and Napster and removed all copy restrictions from their digital downloads. Songs from Sony, Warner, EMI and Universal are all available. As most of our users know Podfitness workouts don’t mix with songs that are copyright protected so this is another big win for us all.

The only restriction as far as I can tell is that the Rhapsody subscription songs are still protected, but that doesn’t bother me too much since I am usually puchasing my songs or albums piece by piece.

It’s good to see that the music industry is finally listening to it’s customers and delivering on what they want.
