How does our HealthVault integration affect you?

Some of you may have been wondering what HealthVault is and how it can can affect your Podfitness experience. Well, it offers Podfitness users a world of new features, including some our users have wanted since we launched.

  • First, HealthVault shows your Workout History, allowing you to track your previous workouts in detail.
  • With HealthVault, Podfitness can target and track more specific health-related goals, like helping you achieve a specific weight, blood pressure, cholesterol level, etc.
  • Graphs of your HealthVault-linked goals, for at-a-glance progress tracking.
  • Automatic (and secure) synchronization between your Podfitness account and your HealthVault profile: make a change in one, and it’s carried over to the other.
  • There are many more HealthVault partners that offer free services that will automatically tie to your HealthVault account. For instance, one of them lets you turn a treadmill run or walk into a virtual map around your neighborhood, to give you an idea of how far you’re really going (and you can share it with friends). Expect lots more cool stuff like that here.
  • Even more possibilities (stay tuned for info about HealthVault and Nike+ compatibility with Podfitness…)

To get all this extra benefit, just sign up for HealthVault and tie your HealthVault account to your Podfitness account. Keep reading to get specific instructions on how to tie the accounts together.

To link up your HealthVault account with your Podfitness one, you need to complete a few steps.
1) Register for a Microsoft HealthVault account here.
2) After your HealthVault account is created, click the Login button under the Microsoft HealthVault section on this page and sign-in to your Windows Live account.
4) After you have signed in to your Windows Live account, sign-in to your Podfitness account here.

You will need to sign-in to HealthVault before signing in to Podfitness each time, and if working correctly you should see a Microsoft HealthVault logo in the top right hand corner of the Podfitness home page. If you have any questions or would to be walked through the steps by a live person give us a call at 801-990-1992 or email us at support@podfitness.com.
